As many of you know, the coronavirus pandemic has taken its toll on logistics operations around the world.

We want to tell you about one of the orders we delivered during this time:

Our company had the task to deliver oversized equipment (machine tool) from Shanghai to Abakan.

The original plan was to deliver the cargo by road via Manchuria.

However, since the border crossings were only intermittently operational, we decided to deliver the cargo in a flat container by sea to Vladivostok and then by road to the destination.

After customs clearance in Vladivostok, the cargo was moved to our warehouse and reloaded by special equipment onto a lowboy truck.

Results:

• The cargo was delivered in complete safety within the declared transit period of 30 days.
• At all stages of shipping, our customer had full information about the cargo, including photos and videos of the transshipment process.
